Oops! Did I do that??
Landry has taken over one of my flowerbeds!  He considers it his playground, and has completely destroyed it!   He has a blast running around the magnolia tree, around and around he goes, over and over! He loves rolling all in my daylilies (that I have cut back at least 3 times, because he flattens them - but the minute they have grown back the slightest bit, he because playing in them). He will get pinecones, sticks, pigweed, cotton plants- just about anything, and toss them in the air and run around with them- just pure FUN !  He totally has destroyed the pinestraw, kicks it all around, leaves big bare spots, which exposes the weed control paper- which causes a whole other problem, because he then wants to pull that up!  Lovely.....it's a mess out there.  And he loves it :)  I have tried to video tape him playing because he is so funny, but just like a child the minute you hit record - he stops, like on cue.  amazing.

I tried to take a picture that showed how bad it is getting, but the picture doesn't do it justice.  Don't know if you can see the bare spots, and dirt.  Believe it or not those daylilies are looking good :) Ha. They have since been cut totally back, along with the plant shown above.
That plant.... I wait all year for this to finally bloom - and they had finally opened up and OOPS they just got in the way while playing and then become his entertainment for the day..... Those plants were totally demolished too, I hope they come back next year.

Landry has also found interest in the birdbath.  Oh, his interest is probably in the BIRDS and they better watch out for him - he is quick as lightning!

He was tired one afternoon, so he went in his kennel, got his favorite santa clause blanket, balled it up and curled up hugging it, and rest his sweet little head on it.  Now ain't that sweet! and smart!

This is usually how he is sleeping!
Never just a normal dog.
