Run Landry RUN

Quick little story....the other day I was sitting in the living room and got a glimpse of something large in the back yard, so I looked out- and it was a deer - a big deer (but not a buck)!! So I jumped up and ran to the sliding glass door (all of 3 ft closer- like I could see better :/  ).  The deer was running full speed, and was closer to the house than I have ever seen a deer, it was very exciting!!!  BUT then there was a smaller deer running right behind it!! Double exciting. They were both running super fast.  WELL then lo and behold, I see Landry!! CHASING the deer- he is right at their heels and chases them across the back yard and behind the pond dam, where they disappeared.  It was hilarious!!  I could tell Landry was loving this.  Then I got nervous of what might could happen, so I called him to the house.  He was wired!!  I wish I knew how fast they were running.  Very cool indeed :)

Living the life

Not too much going on at this house.  We are just crazy enough to clear out more woods so we can have more work to do on a regular basis - I mean, why not.... what else would we do with our time :/    Landry is a big help.  He sees us pulling on vines, so he gets the vines and pulls it out of trees too - now if we can get him to take them towards the fire instead of the opposite direction!  Here's some pictures, not sure if you can tell anything by them.
