Life of Landry: The Christmas Toy that wins the prize....

Well the best, by far, Christmas toy has been the duck from Luke and Hannah. Granted that he ripped it open within 10 minutes of playing with it- even though it seemed solid and has thick material - it's seams were not so tough. But no fear - DUCK TAPE saved the day. As it as been ducked taped several times now. What makes this the perfect toy for LANDRY, and why it is the favorite - is because it has wings and when he slings it in his mouth - the wings slap his face!!!!! GENIUS! No, most dogs may not like the "slapping of the face", but Landry thrives on it, encourages it, begs for it....get the picture! Now I personally don't like to slap the dog around in the face, so I am glad he gets this pleasure from this duck. Sadly, he has lost a set of wings, but one set still works good, and the set of wings all by themselves now, is like having a whole new toy. Go figure.

Also, this marks the one year anniversary that Landry joined our family (and I started this blog). It would have been a very quite 2013 without Landry in our lives. Thanks doggie for all the laughs. He really is a joy. Poor Tim now has 2 goofy "dogs" around to deal with :)

And we have other exciting news! We have a new grandpuppy!!! Proud parents are Hannah and Luke. He is such a cutie! Jack is his name, weighs in at 10.5lbs. They just got him this week. (picture below)
